Woman dies hit by a school bus

1 person died on the spot after a school bus collided in Gaidakot in East Nawalparasi. 1 person was seriously injured.

According to District Police Office Nawalpur, the bus of Balvikas Boarding School, which was going from Omshanti Chowk to Saraswati School Chowk, hit the scooter on the inner road located at Gaidakot 5 Saraswati School Chowk.

The bus No. 4 B 1041 of Bali Vikas Boarding School hit the scooter No. Ba 93 P 9209 coming from the opposite direction.

68-year-old Parvati Poudel, a resident of Bharatpur Metropolitan Municipality 26, died at the scene of the accident while riding a scooter in Falewas Municipality 4 of Parbat District.

Similarly, 20-year-old Ashika Sapkota, a resident of Gaidakot Municipality 5, was seriously injured in the accident.

Nawalpur District Police Office has sent him to Chitwan, Bharatpur for treatment. The bus and the bus driver have been arrested by the police.
