Sophia Leone dies aged 26: Adult film star’s family confirms police are investigating death after she was found unresponsive
ADULT film star Sophia Leone has died after her family found her unresponsive about a week ago. Her death is reportedly being investigated by homicide detectives as a “suspicious death.”
Leone, 26, of Miami, Florida, was found dead in her home in Albuquerque, New Mexico, on March 1, her family confirmed Friday.

Leone’s death is being investigated by Albuquerque homicide detectives and is being treated as a “suspicious death,” Fleshbot reported.
Your modeling agency 101 Modeling (@101modelinginc) said on X, formerly known as Twitter, said Leone’s death “is being investigated as a domestic disturbance homicide.”
“We are heartbroken by the untimely and tragic death of our beloved Sophia Leone,” said 101 Modeling on X.
“A beautiful spirit that touched many of us.
“RIP sweet angel and know how much we loved you.”
She was described as a beloved daughter, sister, granddaughter, niece and friend.
Leone loved animals and had three pets of her own, and she also enjoyed traveling and making people smile, her stepfather Mike Romero wrote on a GoFundMe page.
Her cause of death is currently unknown but is under investigation.
“Sophia was found lifeless by her family in her apartment building on March 1, 2024,” Romero said on GoFundMe.
“It is with a heavy heart that I share the news of the death of our beloved Sophia.”
“An investigation into the cause of death by local police is currently ongoing.”
The GoFundMe was started because Leone’s family didn’t anticipate the cost, but felt she deserved the absolute best memorial.
All donations will be used to cover costs related to the investigation, funeral costs and “any other costs that may arise as the family deals with this grief.”
“The sudden loss of Sophia has left her family and friends devastated and in shock. In addition to the difficult process of grieving and seeking justice for Sophia, the family is also facing a financial burden they were not prepared for,” the site added.

“Sophia will be greatly missed, but her memory will live on in the hearts of all who loved her. May she rest in eternal peace.”
They have set the goal for the fundraising page at $12,000 and as of Saturday afternoon, $5,725 has currently been raised.
Leone’s death came just days after it was revealed that adult film star Emily Willis was in critical condition following an overdose.
Adult film star Kagney Linn Karter was also found dead in her Ohio home about a month ago.
On X, formerly known as Twitter, people expressed their condolences for Leone.
“My condolences go out to her family, her friends and her fans. May she rest in peace,” one user said.
“They need to conduct proper investigation to find out the cause of death,” said another user.
“The untimely deaths of these adult film stars is deeply disheartening. “What’s behind these tragedies?” said this user.
