A soldier died of burns while putting out the fire




One of the soldiers who was injured while extinguishing the fire in Mastabhavani community forest in Dolpa has died.
The soldier, who was preparing to be sent to Kathmandu for treatment, died at Dolpa Hospital.

According to the District Police Office, the deceased is Hemant Rawat, 24, of Tatopani Rural Municipality-4, Jumla, a soldier of Devidatta Gulm. The police said that the soldier died while preparations were being made in Kathmandu for further treatment.




Four soldiers of Devidatta Gulm were injured on Monday afternoon while controlling the fire in the Mastabhavani community forest in Thuliberi municipality-3 of the district.

Two of those injured in the fire were brought to Kathmandu on Monday afternoon by a Nepalese army helicopter. However, as the helicopter could not fly due to bad weather, the other two were being treated at the district hospital.
